The Yarmouth Town Libraries do not monitor and have no control over
the information accessed through the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. The Internet is a global entity
with a highly diverse user population and library patrons use it at their own discretion and risk. It is the libraries' policy
that parents or legal guardians must assume responsibility for deciding what library resources are appropriate for their children.
Parents or legal guardians of children under 14 years of age must sign an Internet consent form before their children
can use our Internet services.
Use of the Internet is on a first-come, first-served basis
and the libraries do not reserve them in-advance. The Internet is available from all public access workstations. There
is a half-hour time limit for using the Internet if someone is waiting. You must agree to make the computer available
within 5 minutes after being informed by the library staff that someone is waiting.
